Re: 2020 IBEW Women's Suffrage Virtual Event
Dear Sisters and Brothers:
I am pleased to announce that the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers is offering a series of virtual events and Zoom video conference webinars to engage IBEW women as activists and leaders.
All IBEW Local 76 October meetings have been canceled except for the SW Washington Southwest WA Electrical JATC Trust and the E-Board meeting which will both be held via teleconference.
Business Manager, Tim O’Donnell, will be conducting an informational meeting Tuesday October 6th at 6:00PM via Facebook Live.
In July we conducted 2 wage allocation votes via mail
For Sound and Comm: 17 ballots were mailed back on-time. 14 voted to yes to accept the recommendation, choosing to allocate $1.70 to wages and $0.05 to NEBF. The new wage sheets are posted in the contract section of our web page and became effect August 1st.
For the Inside: 315 ballots were mailed back on-time.
The Trustees have added 401(K) deferral contribution amounts of $7.00 and $8.00 per hour effective June 1, 2020. Remember the application applies to all participants whose employers are making contributions to this plan on your behalf. The form must be completed by you and returned to your employer.
