Are you a graduating senior, have a parent or guardian that is a Union member,

and live in Pierce County? 

Since 2003, the Pierce County Labor Community Services Agency has awarded more than $123,000.00 in scholarships to 148 seniors of Union families graduating from Pierce County schools.

The Jerry Beckendorf Community Service scholarship program recognizes graduating seniors who have demonstrated their willingness to give back to their communities through community service and seeks to encourage future generations of Union activists and volunteers.

These scholarships are a one-time award and must be used within 12 months of graduation for post-secondary education, including trade or technical school or other institution of higher learning.

Applications must be received in the Labor Council Office or postmarked by March 22, 2024.
